Danielle Crandall

​​English Teacher
Mrs. Danielle Crandall, our Hoya Writing Center coordinator, is a powerhouse teacher who challenges and inspires her students. Mrs. Crandall teaches AP Language and multiple levels of American Literature. She earned both her bachelors and masters degrees from Kennesaw State University. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students grow and build their self-esteem. Mrs. Crandall also co-coordinates the Harrison chapter of the National English Honors Society.

Stephanie Tatum

English Teacher

​Mrs. Stephanie Tatum brings 22 years of experience to teaching AP English Language and Honors Humanities at Harrison High School.   Mrs. Tatum earned her degrees from the University of Georgia—GO DAWGS! To Mrs. Tatum, the best part of teaching is helping teenagers find their voice. In addition to teaching and working in the Writing Center, Mrs. Tatum supports the STEM program and co-sponsors NEHS.

Jordan Motsinger
​English Teacher

Mrs. Jordan Motsinger teaches 9th Literature at Harrison High School. She tutors in and works to promote the services offered in the Hoya Writing Center. Mrs. Motsinger earned her degrees from Young Harris College and the University of North Georgia. To Mrs. Motsinger, the best part of teaching is challenging her students to dig deep into their analyses, argue effectively, and push themselves. In addition to teaching and working in the Writing Center, Mrs. Motsinger is the varsity competition cheer coach and co-sponsors NHS and NEHS.

Ms. Lauren Alexander, a passionate and dedicated teacher, currently teaches 9th Literature and World Literature. Ms. Alexander earned her degree from Kennesaw State University and is in her fifth year teaching. In addition to serving in the Hoya Writing Center, Ms. Alexander also co-sponsors Student Council. ​
